The secret of this performance, which offers average cooling of -7｡C, can be ascribed to the structure of the cooling plate, which separates the notebook from the desk at an angle. Heat moves away from hot areas towards cold areas. X-Base works on this principle. It absorbs heat from the computer and releases it using a conversion current. The more heat the cooling plate receives, the stronger this current and the more effective the cooling process. The heat sink is installed in the same direction as this current, which enhances cooling.
