About Size Change Option X-Base consists of a cooling plate and four feet. This structure allows for components to be changed according to your needs. When you replace your notebook computer, you can adjust your X-Base to fit the new model. You no longer have to worry about stand size when new notebook models come out. X-Base customers can change the stand size at their convenience, as long as Balmuda has manufactured the components. This option is for X-Base customers only. The choice of plate size is limited to our range. Installation of the new plate is the customer's responsibility. If you would like us to install it, please ask for an estimate. This option is designed for long-term use; colors and finishes may change slightly over time. The number of changes is unlimited; only a six-month period between each plate change is required.
